Calibrate Peace of mind on the road
Keep your family safe & tech working when needed most.
Does your car have safety assistance features such as lane assist? After a windshield replacement a recalibration on your vehicle’s advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) is necessary on many newer vehicles to ensure they are accurately aligned and functioning as intended.Â
Our trained technicians use advanced equipment and techniques to recalibrate your vehicle’s sensors, cameras, and other ADAS components, restoring your peace of mind on the road.
Static vs. Dynamic Calibration
Static calibration involves aligning a vehicle’s sensors while it is stationary, using specialized targets in a controlled environment, whereas dynamic calibration requires driving the vehicle under specific conditions for the sensors to self-calibrate in real-time.
The method used depends on the vehicle manufacturer’s specifications, with some vehicles requiring only one type and others needing a combination of both.
Our recalibration rates:
- Dynamic $250
- Static $300
- Dual $450
Calibration Faqs

What is recalibration in auto glass?
Recalibration is the process of returning a vehicle’s ADAS to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications. Recalibration is necessary after a new glass installation, especially a windshield with a camera mounted to it, to ensure the ADAS features continue to function despite having been moved during the installation process.
What is ADAS and how do I know if my car has it?
Modern vehicles are equipped with sophisticated ADAS technologies designed to enhance driver safety and convenience such as lane corrections, cruise control distance, blindspot readers and more.
Recalibration after glass replacement ensures your safety systems are calibrated with the car’s computer so that you:
- Avoid a more costly failure
- Keep your family safe with systems performing as they are intended.
If you are unsure if your car will need recalibration you can always contact us to ask!
Do I really need a recalibration?
When your windshield is replaced or repaired, it can disrupt the alignment of your ADAS systems, potentially compromising their effectiveness. Driving with misaligned ADAS features can increase the risk of accidents and collisions.
When ADAS are out of whack you run the risk of costly cameras breaking, which costs $3000-$5000 to fix. You also avoid a critical mistake which could cause an accident on the road or in the parking lot. Let us help ensure you don’t run the risk.
While you can opt-out of getting a recalibration we never recommend it. For a small additional cost, it’s worth the peace of mind to know your systems are working right.Â

What impact is ADAS having on the auto glass industry?
Experts forecast that the number of replacements with windshield-mounted sensors will increase to 3,000,000+ by 2020. In September of 2015, 10 auto manufacturers committed to making automatic emergency braking a standard feature on all vehicles. These manufacturers accounted for 57% of US auto sales in 2014.
As of December 2015, NHTSA added ADAS to their new car assessment program (5-star safety rating), which requires vehicles to have ADAS to receive a 5-star rating.
