When you get a side door window replacement we always do a regulator check (which controls power windows)- while everything is taken apart we can diagnose the regulators.

When you get a side door window replacement the function of the window is covered under the warranty and diagnostic of the window function is covered under warranty.

However, a regulator is an additional cost if it needs to be replaced due to the cost of the part.

If it stops working after the replacement is done- we don’t charge to diagnose if it was after our replacement- just charge for the part.

A power window regulator is the mechanical system inside your car door that moves the window glass up and down, converting the electric motor’s spin into the linear motion needed to raise or lower the window using gears, cables, or arms. It’s the unseen track and linkage that the motor operates, allowing you to control the window with a button for smooth, guided movement.
